In honor of the heartbreaking Hostess news this week and feeding frenzies throughout grocery stores nationwide, A whipped up some Twinkie inspired cupcakes.
Moist yellow cake (not artificially colored) with marshmallow buttercream frosting makes you grateful this baker is not on strike.
What better than breakfast as dessert? These semi-homemade cupcakes from a really altered online recipe are one of A’s most creative new cupcakes.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch inspired a flavorful treat for some upcoming birthdays and Thanksgiving. Cinnamon cupcakes with Cereal Cream Cheese frosting pair well to bring you back to the days of Saturday Morning Cartoons.
So life has been busy, but A found some time to whip up a new one. Although a cupcake staple nowadays, this is her first go at a Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese frosting.
It was a different recipe and different additions to a classic chocolate cake. But no fear, A conquered it with adding additional oil and egg to the mixture to get just the right moistness for a successful dessert. The red and white are such a pretty combo, adding some blueberries or blue sprinkles would make one patriotic cupcake. So go ahead America, and put your Red Velvet out next to that Apple Pie, and be proud!
Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile but its Christmas time now and what better excuse than to bake?!? Here are some Hot Chocolate cupcakes. Chocolate cake and marshmallow frosting….mmmm good!
I know it has been awhile but in honor of Shark Week, we made cupcakes worthy of a bite!
They are yellow cupcakes dyed two colors of blue with blue frosting and a chocolate shark fin among the waves of frosting.
These shark cupcakes were SO good they were attacked! Nom nom nom.
